Baby Rooms for Both Genders!

Baby Room for both Genders!

Hey Everyone,

Today I have some great ideas for baby rooms. So many people use specific colors and decor for a specific gender, which is great! If you know what you are having and its what you've always dreams then go for it. But what about those people who want to wait to be surprised? Or they just don't necessarily like just Pink for  girl or Blue for a boy? Well, there are lots of neat ideas out there to decorate your nursery in a way that it is gender friendly. Check out these great pics below:

This is great!! The neutral colours make it suitable for both boy and girl. Its elegant, neat and it says baby friendly. Very great idea :)

Green is a good in between color, if its the lighter, baby green than this set up would be good for a girl as well as a boy. The white as well is something that is neutral for both genders. If you want to make the room more girly once the baby is born, add some pink flowers or animals as wall art or a girly carpet in front of the crib.

Wow, check out the patterns!! Adding in patterns into the room can make it very gender friendly as well. You see the play on color here, yellows, browns. It can really go either way. Strips arent necessarily boyish or girly. And making it so that it is also comfortable for the mother is great too.

Another great unisex color is used in this one! Yellow. its a beautiful color of yellow! Here they use the darker wood. Which you can play both ways. Another thing to notice is the use of bees. Again like animals and patterns you cant label them to a specific gender unless you plan to add color (pink or blue).

This one I LOVE. Gray is so in now. Its modern, you can play with the different shades. You can add color to it and it is very gender friendly. A couple I know has the nursery in greys. When the baby is born they will throw in more color according to the gender (its a surprise). In this picture they stick with all safe colors: yellow, brown and grey. As well as adding in patterns.

Arent those great! I makes me want to have baby! Ah, in time perhaps... For now I hope all you mothers who are looking for great decor found this very interesting and informative!! Wishing you all the best!

Benefits of Herbal Tea

Herbal Tea

Hello Everyone,

Today I want to share about herbal tea. This past weekend I purchased a tea pot with a strainer to make loose leaf teas. My mother in law is big on these teas and she has been telling me that there are certain herbs that you can drink as tea that is better than taking vitamins. The reason for this is because herbs are FULL of vitamins and minerals in themselves! So check out these teas, get some and drink it!

Nettle Tea:

Minerals - calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, sulfur and zinc

Vitamins - A, B1, B2, B3, B5, C, E, K & folate

Nettle is also known to have Phytochemicals which are natural occurring plant compounds that prevent free-radicals damage. It is believed to help prevent and treat many diseases and sicknesses such as allergies, anemia, inflammatory disorders. As well as effect your blood sugar levels, therefore can help with diabetes.

Other benefits - Helps coughs, nasal congestion, acne, inflammation, arthritis and many more.

Sage Tea:

Minerals - Calcium, Magnesium, Iron

Vitamins - A, B6, B12, C

Benefits - Helps with oily skin, dandruff, hot flashes, indigestion, kills bacteria, memory loss, liver, kidneys, head colds, soothe muscles, improve your mood.

External uses - Swelling, sprains, cankers and bleeding.

Wormwood Tea:

This tea is best for your skin. If you are suffering from a skin disorder. Try drinking this tea daily. Its best to drink before eating, wait a little bit after drinking to allow your body to absorb it.

Benefits - Digestion Problems, heals and provides healthy skin including conditions such as dry, itchy, eczema. Expels parasites and worms. Drink before heavy meals to prevent gas and bloating.

There are 3 great teas that you should definitely give a try. Remember these teas for this such as skin problems, allergies and such wont make the problem go away right away, you'll have to commit to drinking it a couple times a day, daily for a few weeks or so.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I did learning about it! Wishing you all the best!

Motivational Monday - Change & Results

If you focus on results, you will never change. If you focus on change, you will get results. -Jack Dixon

Happy Monday!
I hope you all enjoyed your weekend! My weekend was so busy! Yesterday I had to turn off my phone and lay down because I was starting not to feel well from being so busy. Which reminds me that I need to ensure I am sticking to a healthy lifestyle.

I thought this quote would encourage you to see that if we focus on the change we can see results in those areas in our lives that we need to change. Since I focus on finances I would like to direct this to your savings, debt, spending, lending, working, planning. Pretty much anything that would effect your finances, you got to make sure you focus on the change in order to see the progress! Lets start this week on a high note. Lets get the ball rolling!

 Thank you!
